*Please be aware that because of the exceptional quality of our breeding stock, Guardian Rottweilers always reserves the right of first choice and your order of pick will follow behind our pick(s). Also understand that you pick may be affected by our previous litter. (If we have more deposits than pups, priority will be given on the next avauilable litter.)
_____ The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free and up to date with inoculations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good quality professional feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. If the Buyer chooses not to use Nutro Ultra Large Breed Puppy, the puppy’s diet will be gradually switched following the instructions provided on the Guardian Rottweiler website, www.guardianrottweilers.com, or the Nutro dog food container. Failure to do so could result in diarrhea or vomiting which could lead to severe dehydration and/or death.
_____ The Buyer agrees not to take the puppy to any place frequented by other dogs or puppies until all vaccinations are completed due to the risk of contracting deadly diseases including Parvovirus. The Buyer further promises to complete all vaccinations, especially for Parvovirus, in a timely manner. _____ Understand that your puppy will grow from about one pound to 100 pounds or more in 24 months. Buyer agrees to provide responsible care in regards to bones/ joints by providing dog food especially formulated for Large Breed Puppies until 24 months of age and restricting harsh exercises (forced running, jumping higher than dog’s shoulder, care on stair cases, etc.) until the age of 12 months to help prevent hip dysplasia and joint dislocations. Buyer further agrees NOT to start Schutzhund Bite/ Protection of this dog until the age of 8 months to allow the dog sufficient time to develop both physically and psychologically.
_____ The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the dog, and never allow the dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision. Guardian Rottweilers strongly recommends that the puppy/dog be microchipped or tattooed in order to facilitate his return if lost or stolen.
_____ The Buyer agrees to release and hold harmless Guardian Rottweilers for any and all liabilities, damages, or injuries, caused either directly or indirectly by Puppy to any person, animal, whether actual or legal, or to any property whether real or personal. Furthermore, Buyer assumes full liability for any damages or injuries, whether physical or mental, emotional or economic, caused by Puppy, to any person, whether actual or legal, or to any property whether real or personal, after receiving and acknowledging delivery and possession of the Puppy.
_____ Guardian Rotweilers guarantees this puppy/dog to be of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale. A health record of all shots and wormings will be provided by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to take this dog to a licensed veterinarian of his choice within 72 hours for a physical examination and notify the Seller within 24 hours of any medical concerns. Failure to do so will void your health guarantee. Should your puppy/dog be determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to Guardian Rottweilers, the dog may, upon signed written diagnosis from said veterinarian, returned for another puppy of equal value from the next available litter. No other guarantees are given. UNDERSTAND THAT NO BREEDER CAN GUARANTEE THAT YOUR DOG WILL NEVER GET SICK OR DEVELOP A DISEASE. ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT NO BREEDER CAN GUARANTEE WHAT YOUR PUPPY WILL LOOK OR ACT LIKE AS AN ADULT. THE SINGLE GREATEST FACTOR IN DETERMINING THE BEHAVIOR OF YOUR DOG AS AN ADULT IS YOU.
_____ The Buyer agrees that any and all travel expenses are the sole responsibility of the Buyer and are non-refundable.
_____ If this dog is being sold as PET ONLY, the Buyers agrees not to use this animal for breeding and agrees to have it spayed/neutered at the age recommended by their veterinarian.
_____ The Buyer agrees that if this puppy is purchased with breeding rights, that it will not be bred before the age of 24 months and only be bred to Rottweilers with full registration, official certification of hips (OFA, Penn HIP, or equivalent), current negative Brucellosis blood test, and up to date on all inoculations and wormings. Should the dog be bred without the above qualifications met, Seller will have the right to repossess the dog and all monies invested thus far by Buyer will be forfeited. If the animal in question is a bitch, Guardian Rottweilers may also repossess any offspring from the breeding in question.
_____ If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this dog, the Seller is to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of dog in order for the Seller to locate this dog a new home. Under no circumstances will this dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter or similar facility.
_____ This dog is NOT to be used as a fighting dog. This is deplorable and torturous to the dog. Proper socialization is recommended. “Over-socialization” will not compromise the dog’s ability to protect his family.
_____ The Buyer agrees that this dog will reside at the home of the Buyer and not be chained up or “tied out.” Buyer understands that Guardian Rottweiler pups are sent to carefully screened homes and are intended to become members of the family.
_____ If the puppy/dog is ever found to be the victim of abuse or neglect, GUARDIAN ROTTWEILERS WILL ASSUME IMMEDIATE POSSESSION OF THE DOG AND WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PURSUE LEGAL ACTION. All monies invested in the dog thus far will be forfeited by the Buyer.
_____ In the event that Guardian Rottweilers is forced to pursue legal action against the Buyer, the Buyer agrees to be responsible for all legal expenses including, but not limited to, attorneys fees and court costs.
_____ The Buyer agrees to contact the Seller immediately if any questions or concerns arise about the dog, such as housing, diet, health or training. The Buyer agrees to keep Guardian Rottweilers informed of any treatment as it occurs. This provides Guardian Rottweilers with an opportunity to follow up on puppies and gives us important feedback and information on the health or our dogs for future generations.
_____ Registration papers will either be given with the puppy or transferred to the Buyer immediately upon receipt from the AKC if they are still being processed. It is structurally and temperamentally suited as a companion and/or obedience dog. Training classes are recommended for a happy relationship between the dog and family.
_____ The puppy will not be released until payment is received in full. If the payment in full cannot be made by the time the puppy is ready to be released, and kennel fee of $50.00 per week will be added to purchase price. Any vaccinations or vet care expenses will also be added to the purchase price of the puppy.
_____ The registered name of your puppy will already be given by Guardian Rottweilers, however, the Buyer is free to choose the "call name."
The preceding paragraphs contain conditions established to ensure the well being of the dog, but also to uphold and maintain the reputation of quality that Guardian Rottweilers has established over many years. The Buyer’s agreements will continue for the dog’s life and the Seller will have the right to enforce the agreements.
