Even if you do not buy a pup from us, please RESEARCH, RESEARCH, RESEARCH.
Ask to see the pedigree. Are the parents "ADRK"? If not, they are NOT German. We have traced our dogs' pedigrees back to the early 1900's in Germany to some of the original Foundation Rottweilers.
Ask for proof of health clearances: Hip/Elbow (OFA or PENN Hip), Heart, CERF (eyes), DNA
Ask for a health contract. Our puppy contract extends for the life of your puppy and we are the only breeder I have ever encountered that offers a temperament guarantee. That is how confident we are with our dogs and our pedigrees.
Quality does not happen by accident. We start with top European lines and select onlt dogs with superior temperaments and confirmation. Then we complete all necessary medical screening to ensure breeding soundness. We are careful not to over-breed the bitch which would destroy her and produce poor quality puppies with compromised health and confirmation. Simply look at the size and quality of our pups. They are stocky and solid, and most importantly, temperamentally sound. We are picky with our dogs, picky with our breeding, and picky with the placement of our pups. If you are looking for a dog of superior quality, with an unbeatable pedigree, and sound health and temperament, then we woul love to set up an interview. We do occationally have puppies available, but will not accept a deposit without an interview.
All puppys will have their tails docked and dew claws removed, have been de-wormed, and have received at least one set of immunizations. The puppies will have begun potty training. Each puppy comes with a PUPPY CARE PACKAGE which includes:
* A framed photo of him/her
* Their own blanket
* A toy
* A collar
* A box of Nutro Ultra Large Breed Puppy food (Please click for more info. I highly reccomend this brand of dog food as it provides excellent skin and coat and the correct proportion of vitamins and nutrients essential to your growing rottweiler. If you choose another brand, be sure to switch your puppy's diet gradually:Day 1-3: mix ¾ Nutro to ¼ new brand. Day 4-6: half Nutro half new brand. Day 7-9: ¾ New brand to Nutro. By the end of the 10 days, your dog should be ready to eat the new food on its own.)
